Katrina Dimaranan Reveals True Feelings After Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Pageant

KATRINA DIMARANAN – The beauty queen who represented Taguig City at the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 pageant, Katrina Dimaranan admitted that she is hurt after failing to win the crown.

The coronation night of the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 was held at the Hernann Resort Convention Center in Bohol on September 20, 2021. Cebu City’s Beatrice Luigi Gomez won the crown and set to represent the country in the prestigious international pageant in December in Israel.

Katrina Jayne Dimaranan took home the title of Miss Universe PH Tourism 2021. She’s no stranger to the pageant scene. She won Bb. Pilipinas-Tourism 2012 crown when she was just 18 years old. She won the Miss Supranational USA pageant in 2018 and represented the USA at the Miss Supranational 2018 in Poland. She finished the first runner-up in the competition.

Taguig’s Katrina Dimaranan is a constant frontrunner throughout the Miss Universe PH pageant. She placed 5^th in the video introduction challenge, 6^th in the top 15 runway challenge, 5^th in the casting video challenge, and 6^th in the headshot challenge.

The 28-year-old beauty queen, however, finished at the 2^nd spot and won the Miss Universe PH tourism title. On Saturday, she wrote a lengthy message of “healing and gratitude” on her Instagram account.

Katrina Dimaranan shared how her dream of becoming a Miss Universe challenged her. She also admitted that she is hurt after failing to win the crown.

“Just like many of you, I am also hurt, but the hurt I feel right now is part of the process and my joy of knowing I left my heart out on that stage and gave my absolute best, defeats that pain. In time I’ll be fully healed, back and stronger,” she said.

Despite not winning the MU PH crown, Katrina Dimaranan said she’s thankful because she gained new friends and memories that she will treasure forever. She also thanked the people who supported her journey in the said local pageant.
