Virus Survivor Goes Viral After Writing Letter of Appreciation for Health Frontliners

A virus survivor writes a thank you letter for the health frontliner who showed love and care for the patient at a health facility.

An unidentified patient who survived from the coronavirus disease has expressed its gratitude towards the health workers. The survivor penned a heartwarming message for the medical frontliners.

The patient expressed its gratitude towards the medical workers for their sacrifice and hard work amid the ongoing pandemic just to help individuals infected by COVID-19. The latter thanked the health employees for the healthy food and keeping the room clean.

The anonymous sender choose to hide its identity and shared a Bible verse. The survivor is hoping that the frontliners would remain safe and healthy and even left P150 for the housekeeping.

The heartwarming letter touched the hearts of hotel isolation facility employees in Pampanga. They were motivated to keep going and do their best to help their fellow countrymen.

“Yung sabihan kami na laging mag-ingat at pinagdarasal nila kami, sobrang nakakapawi ng pagod sa aming mga frontliner. Nakaka-motivate na pagbutihin pa po namin yung aming trabaho,” nursing attendant Arlene David said.

The healthcare workers said that the letter moved them and even a simple thank you from the patients inspires them to do their best. They were happy to receive such simple act of appreciation.

Head nurse Alfie Maniti revealed that he choose to stay in the Philippines and serve his fellow Filipinos despite having an opportunity abroad. He also thanked the patient who appreciates their efforts and sacrifices.

“Nagsunod-sunod yung letters na nare-receive namin sa kanila na sobrang positive at nakakataba ng puso,” Maniti said.
