Mother Seeks Help for Baby After Swallowing Push Pin in Kidapawan City

A mother in Kidapawan City seeks assistance from the public after her 9-months-old baby accidentally swallowed a push pin.

Angel Mae Dinaguit, the mother, is asking for donations to assist cover the operation for her baby who allegedly swallowed a push pin. She was on her way to get milk tea from a roadside stand when she discovered her son gnawing on a pushpin, according to her.

Dinaguit stated that she attempted to remove the pin but that it had already been eaten by her son. The infant was stated to be active despite the trauma, but they noted that his stomach was “bloated” or enlarged.

According to Dinaguit, she took her child to the hospital, where an X-ray revealed the drawing pin lodged in his stomach. The kid will need to be operated on if the push pin cannot be removed spontaneously within a few days, according to the doctor.

Friends shared the mother’s plea as well as a picture of the boy’s X-ray. Doctors calculated the surgery would cost her P100,000.

The baby’s family requested assistance for an estimated P50,000 to P100,000 to be spent on the child’s treatment and surgery due to a lack of cash. Those who have a good heart to offer assistance should call the number 0967-001-5574.
