This is what an insider said about the political plan of Raffy Tulfo
An insider reacted to the rumors saying that TV host-YouTuber Raffy Tulfo will be the Vice President of Senator Manny Pacquiao who recently announced his presidential candidacy.
Tulfo is one of the well-respected TV personalities in the Philippines. Through his show, he is extending help to people from different walks of life with various kinds of problems. However, he will be joining politics next year and because of this, he has to leave his show for now.
In a previous article, it was stated that Tulfo is set to leave his shows on TV5 to pursue a career in politics. It was also rumored that he will be the running mate of Pacquiao.
Based on the article in PEP, the camp of Raffy Tulfo reacted to this. It was said that it is being suspected that the camp of the Senator is the one spreading the rumors.
However a TV5 insider strongly denied that the TV host will run for Vice President in the 2022 elections. The insider also said that Tulfo is planning to run for Senator as it was what he stated when he asked permission from the network to leave and so there is no truth that he will running for VP with Pacquiao as his running mate.
It was also said that the management of TV5 is full support for Tulfo’s candidacy next year. The source also clarified that there is no truth in rumors saying that Tulfo will be running under PDP-Laban, the political party of Pacquiao.
Raffy Tulfo is not affiliated with any political party as he is running as independent in 2022, the source added. As of this writing, the TV host has not spoken about this yet. He has not revealed his exact plan for next year’s elections, as of the moment.
