Vice Pres. Robredo Breaks Silence on Calls to Run for President, Decide on 2022 Election
ROBREDO – Philippine Vice President Leni Robredo spoke on the calls for her to run for president in the Election 2022.
The talks about Election 2022 are becoming more and more intense as the filing of candidacies draws near. Some incumbent politicians have announced their political plans for the next election.
Several months ago, there were already surveys on who might run for president in 2022. One of the names in the results is Vice President Leni Robredo. When cornered by questions during interviews, the Vice President maintained her belief that the presidency is not something that is planned but it is on fate.
The Vice President would also usually stressed that the pandemic in the Philippines is her focus and as well as the pursuits to help the people amid the crisis. Until now, she has yet to announce her final decision over the next election.

Recently, there are talks and allegations that the Vice President is already tired, scared to lose, and dealing with the alleged insufficient resources for the next political race. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, with a smiling face, here’s what she said:
“Tanungin ko kayo ngayon. Mukha ba akong pagod? Mukha ba akong natatakot? Mukha ba akong kinakabahan?”
During the previous interviews, Vice Pres. Robredo stressed that she is after the unity ticket in the opposition. She admitted that she’s broken over the recent announcements of some politicians on their presidential bid but she assured the people that she is not yet giving up in her pursuit to unite the opposition.
Amid the calls to run for president, the Vice President stressed that she knows the deadline and the fact that time is passing by. According to her, what is meant to happen will happen.
The Vice President is asking the Filipinos to trust her that when it comes to the talks over the upcoming election, she has only one thing in mind – to make sure to put an end to the leadership that is allegedly the root of the struggles, hardships, and death of many Filipinos.
