JOLLIBEE INFILTRATES SPAIN – The Philippines’ largest food chain, Jollibee, has successfully opened its first store in the heart of Madrid.

Spain and the Philippines’ obviously had a “loooong” history between them. But, the past is in the past and we have to keep moving forward.

Still, most Pinoy netizens are nothing less but proud of Jollibee for slowly infiltrating Spain. Meanwhile, others say that Jollibee could occupy Spain one franchise at a time.

The new Jollibee Franchise opened last Sept. 23 at Madrid at Puerta del Sol, Calle Arena no4. And, much like how Magellan first set foot in the Philippines, the opening of the first Jollibee was swarmed by locals.

Jollibee isn’t the only popular in the Philippines, it’s actually a global sensation. In fact, it is the only Non-US fast-food chain that topped the World’s most popular list.

With more than 1,400 restaurants across the globe, Jollibee is looking for world dominance. Currently, the fast-food chain has branches in key areas such as New York, Rome, London, Los Angeles, and Dubai.
