Cauayan Police Nurse Help Woman to Give Birth Inside Tricycle Goes Viral
Personnel of Cauayan City Police Station earned praise from the online community after he help a woman to give birth inside the tricycle.
A photo of a police officer assisting a woman in giving birth while riding in a tricycle has appeared on the internet. PCpl Jefferson Gannaban of the Cauayan City Police Station, who is also a nurse, was recognized as the officer.
On the Don Jose Canciller Road stretch in Cauayan City, Isabela, Gannaban assisted a woman who had already given birth on the road. According to PCpl. Gannaban, he was on duty at the post on the side of Cabatuan Road around 6:00 a.m. when a guy approached him and stated that a lady had given birth.
He stated that he would not hesitate to assist the Lady in saving her unborn child. He claimed that even though the baby was no longer in the Lady’s womb, she still ensured safety and that the mother and daughter were in good health.
The cops were especially concerned because the infant had not yet cried, indicating that he was safe and alive until he did. According to him, he did not consider the potential hazard of COVID-19 to the mother and daughter, who are both quite weak as a result of the scenario.
A healthy baby girl was born after Rescue 922 arrived on the scene. Because Gannaban apparently practiced her course as a certified nurse, it is an honor for her to assist. Si PCpl. Gannaban is a citizen of Barangay Cabaruan in Cauayan City and a graduate of the University of Perpetual Help System (UPHS) Manila.
