6 Students Found Violating Health Protocols Lost Scholarship from Muntinlupa Gov’t

The local government of Muntinlupa City has withdrawn the scholarship of six (6) students who were caught violating health protocols.

The local government has warned that students who are discovered breaking the city’s curfew would have their scholarships revoked. Non-scholars, on the other hand, will not be able to avoid the policy because they will be penalized P300 if found breaking the curfew laws.

It should be remembered that when the capital district is on Alert Level 4, a curfew is in effect from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. throughout Metro Manila. When found, city scholars will receive a stern warning, but their scholarship from the local government will be suspended for the second time.

Second offense violators, according to the Muntinlupa LGU, will be suspended for one academic year and will be required to sign a promise to strictly adhere to curfew laws. Approximately 70 pupils have been caught breaking the curfew so far.

Six of them were caught a second time, and their scholarships were canceled as a result. Mayor Jaime Fresnedi urged parents of minors to provide guidance to their children.

Meanwhile, 11 individuals have been beaten by policemen in Cotabato City after they allegedly violated curfew hours. However, police denied the allegations and said the authorities followed the appropriate procedure in apprehending the violators, and they supposedly did not break the law.

The captured 11 persons were filming a marathon, four of them were women and seven of whom were guys. Based on the report, the group of youth allegedly made a lot of noise at 11:00 p.m. and were bothering their neighbors.
