Derek Ramsay reacted to this “Brangelina” comment
Kapuso actor Derek Ramsay reacted to a comment of a netizen saying that he and his fiancée Ellen Adarna are like the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, knowns as Brangelina, of the Philippines.
The relationship of Derek and Ellen is just one of the examples of a whirlwind romance in show business. After a few months of dating, the actor already proposed and they are planning their wedding.
Just recently, the couple shared photos with their families. Derek and his family went to Cebu, the home province of Ellen for the tradition of doing “pamamanhikan”. The actress even shared a hilarious post with her mother and her future mother-in-law as she compared what they were drinking to their age.
In one of the recent Instagram posts showing his and Ellen’s photo, a netizen commented that they are like the Brangelina couple, based on the article in The Latest Chika. “Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt ng pinas. Bagay kayo. I wish forever na yan,” the netizen commented. Derek Ramsay reacted to this with jest. “Naku naghiwalay na sila Diba?! Lol,” he answered. Brad and Angelina separated in 2016 after two years of marriage and in 2019, they were officially declared single.
Apparently, Derek found it funny that he and Ellen were being compared to two of the most popular celebrities around the world who were once a couple but are no longer together now.
Meanwhile, Derek Ramsay and Ellen Adarna haven’t revealed yet the official date of their wedding. In a previous interview, the Kapuso actor said that they want it simple and intimate. The couple also revealed that they want to have a baby after the wedding as Ellen jokingly said that she does not want to gain weight during the wedding.
