Intense Commotion Occurs After Medic Rider Volunteers Apprehend Health Protocol Violator
The residents of Cainta, Rizal lambasted the medic rider volunteers for apprehending and scolding a health protocol violator.
The Facebook page Pinoy Publiko has shared the video footage of an intense commotion at Brgy. San Andres in Cainta, Rizal. The video spread like a wildfire online and elicits comments from the netizens.
In the video, it can be seen that the medic rider volunteers apprehended a young man who commit a health protocol violation. Unfortunately, the teenager tried to escape and run away from the volunteers.
According to a family residing at Planters St., the incident happened when the male teenager is about to go home. The guy is not wearing a face mask, which is a violation of health protocol.
The volunteers have no choice but to use force to hold the teenager prompting the residents to react and criticize the medics for their actions. The residents were also accusing the medics of choking the kid.
The medic riders denied the accusations and explained that they were just holding the guy who is trying to escape. According to the post, the volunteers have no mandate to apprehend health protocol violators.

“MAGKAKABARANGAY NAGLABO-LABO DAHIL SA FACEMASK
Naglabo-labo ang magkakapitbahay sa Brgy. San Andres, Cainta, Rizal nang habulin at pagtulungan ng mga volunteer riders ang isang residente na walang face mask.
Ayon sa reklamo ng pamilyang residente ng Planters st., pauwi na ang bata nilang kaanak nang kumprontahin, habulin at sakalin ito ng mga medic rider volunteers dahil wala itong suot na facemask.
“Sa simpleng violation lamang hahabulin na nila at poposasan pa…hindi tamang paninita,” ayon sa isang miyembro ng nasabing pamilya.
“Makikita din po sa video na sinasaway na sila ng asawa kong buntis hindi pa nila pinakakawalan sa pagkakasakal ang bata hnd naman din po nanlalaban ang bata,” aniya.
Giit naman ng mga inaasukasahan, sinita lamang ang bata at hindi nila sinakal.
Napag-alaman ng PUBLIKO na walang mandato mula sa barangay na manghuli ng health protocol violators ang mga nasabing volunteers.”
