Renato ‘Alon’ Dela Rosa Known as Pusong Bato Composer Dies at 61 After Rejected by 35 Hospitals

The infamous composer of the popular hit song “Pusong Bato” Renato ‘Alon’ Dela Rosa has passed away at the age of 61.

A Facebook user named Mhaine Dela Rosa, the daughter of Renato ‘Alon’ Dela Rosa announced that her beloved father passed away. The post goes viral and garnered various reactions from the online community.

Raquel Hernandez, the singer’s wife said that her husband passed away on Wednesday morning (September 15, 2021) at Novaliches District Hospital around 7:00 am. The family is still waiting for his COVID-19 test results.

Hernandez said that they sought emergency treatment in more than 35 hospitals within 48 hours but was rejected due to overcapacity of patients. He was already using oxygen while they are looking for available hospital.

“Nasa ambulance pa rin po si papa at kanina hapon pa po sila paikot-ikot sa iba’t ibang ospital. Wala po nag-aadmit dahil puno po yung rooms,” Renee’s daughter Justine Dela Rosa said.
