Lady Doctor Survive Attack of Bystander Allegedly Chasing Her with Knife
A lady doctor who was supposed to go home was attacked by a bystander and chased her with a knife but luckily survive after evading.
A passerby attempted to stab a lady physician to death inside her Malabon City clinic, putting her life in jeopardy. Andrade, who was still traumatized by the incident, gave a shaky statement during her questioning at Malabon Police Station Sub-Station 2. According to her statement, the doctor was about to go home when the suspect arrived, so he was closing his office.
According to the report, the suspect is Paulo Gonzales, 37, a resident of Concepcion Street in Barangay Tugatog. Gonzales arrived with a knife and went right to the victim’s clinic.
The culprit attempted to knife the lady victim, but she managed to avoid it and flee. The lady doctor then sought assistance from nearby people, who responded quickly and prevented the culprit from fleeing, based on the police report.
Locals rushed the culprit and assisted in his beating until PSSg. Julius Cezar Mendoza and PCpl. Larry Ocampo came and dragged Gonzales to the precinct. As per report, the guy is charged with attempted homicide, and his motivation is still unknown.
