Beauty Gonzalez fondly calls Kelvin Miranda “baby boy”
Actress Beauty Gonzalez shared how she and her younger leading man Kelvin Miranda did their intimate scene in the series Loving Miss Bridgette of Stories from the Heart drama anthology.
Beauty has signed a contract with GMA this year and her first project as a Kapuso is this series with a May-December love affair theme. Based on the article in Inquirer Entertainment, Beauty admitted that she felt nervous about this project as it is her first time to be paired with a younger leading man.
She described Kelvin as “energetic” and his energy is contagious. With the help of their director Adolf Alix Jr., Beauty Gonzalez and Kelvin Miranda were able to pull it off. “I was surprised that we actually had a nice chemistry onscreen,” the actress said.
Beauty also has all good words for her younger leading man. “When I met him my heart melted. He’s handsome and cute. Baby boy na leading man,” she said. The actress also said that Kelvin is really eager to work and this made her realize that she has so much to learn whether from an older or younger co-star.
One of the first scenes that they shot was the intimate scene between their characters. Beauty Gonzalez shared that they discussed it before filming. She believes that every intimate scene is like a dance. “We really talked about it, as in every love scene I have done before. It’s a dance; there’s choreography. It’s not something you rush. You have to focus on every touch, kiss, look and nuance,” she said.
The actress quipped that their director is a good instructor and that her younger leading man is a good student. Beauty also shared that she is happy working with the Kapuso network because everyone made her feel at home. Aside from this, she is also happy about the project that was given to her. It is challenging and so it pushes her to give her best.
