Beauty Gonzalez had the chance to work with Kelvin Miranda for her first Kapuso series
Actress Beauty Gonzalez shared her thoughts on having a younger leading man in the person of Kelvin Miranda for her first series in GMA-7 Stories from the Heart: Loving Miss Bridgette.
The said series is part of the Afternoon Prime of the Kapuso network. Beauty plays the role of a guidance counselor Bridgette while Kelvin brings life to the character of medical student Marcus. The two will be entangled in a May-December love affair.
Based on the article in The Philippine Star, Beauty Gonzalez said that it is her first time to have a younger leading man. “Sobrang taas ng energy, alam mo naman ang mga bagets… it’s very nakakatuwa kasi (his energy was) very infectious. I admired him for he was very eager to work every day. Nakikita ko yung sarili ko dati sa kanya,” the actress shared.
Furthermore, this acting experience makes her grounded as she said that she has to learn more even from her younger co-stars. The former Kapamilya actress also said that she was surprised that she and Kelvin have amazing onscreen chemistry.
Then, Beauty Gonzalez also shared glimpses of the personality of her character. She said that Bridgette always sees the good in everyone and in every situation. In real life, the actress said that she never experienced being in a relationship with a younger man but admitted she had suitors in the past and this just amused her.
However, her husband is several years older than her and so she is in a May-December relationship. “Actually, it’s not about the age for me. It’s more about the experience and the emotional maturity of the person,” she said. For her, it is more about how they share their experiences with each other.
