Ex-PNP Chief Debold Sinas Appointed Undersecretary Of Presidential Office – Official
DEBOLD SINAS – The controversial Ex-PNP chief Debold Sinas was recently appointed as the Undersecretary of the Office of the President.
According to a report from journalist, Ted Cordero, Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea confirmed the reports. This, following the recent budget hearing.
Sinas has become a prominently controversial figure in the Philippines. During the initial lockdowns, Sinas went viral for his “Mañanita” celebration.
During that time, large parties were prohibited as the country was placed under an enhanced community quarantine. However, Sinas defended himself saying that it was not a party but a “Mananita”.
Following this, Sinas also went viral for a number of controversial issues including the Christine Dacera case. Afterward, he also went viral during the flooding in Marikina where he alleged ignored people who were pleading for help.
But, shortly after this, Sinas stepped down as chief of the PNP with Guillermo Eleazar taking the post. Meanwhile, netizens were jesting that in a short while, Sinas might be promoted to a higher post.
