Brother of Mahal Recounted Bad Habits of Sister Resulting to Chronic Disease
The brother of comedienne Mahal has recounted the bad habits of his sister that allegedly resulted to chronic disease in her stomach.
During an interview with Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho, the siblings of Noemi Tesorero, also known as Mahal, revealed the situation of their sister before she died (KMJS). Mahal’s brother, Jason, detailed what happened throughout their youth that caused their sister’s stomach condition.

He claimed that when they were younger, Mahal had a habit of ingesting phlegm rather than spitting it out. As a result of this technique, mucus accumulated in the intestines, eventually leading to bleeding.
“Si Mahal, since na bata talaga siya kapag nagkasipon po ‘yung sisinghutin sipon at tsaka idudura. Ang ginagawa niya lang, pinapabayaan niya lang tapos lulunuk-lunukin niya lang ‘yan. Hanggang sa naipon daw po ‘yung plema sa loob ng tiyan. Doon po nagkaroon ng bleeding ‘yung intestine niya po,” said Jason.
Jessica Soho spoke with Mahal’s two siblings, Lany and Irene, in addition to Jason. Lany even said that she thought she’d still be able to visit her Ate during the interview, but she passed away before she could get to her.
Mahal’s siblings claim that Mahal’s manager and Mygz informed them that Mahal had a cough and cold. They said the comedienne declared she was OK, but that her condition did not improve after three days, so they took her to the hospital.
Her oxygen levels decreased, and the comedienne tested positive following an antigen test on the same day. In a Facebook post, Irene Tesorero, one of Mahal’s sisters, stated that COVID-19 was the reason of her sister’s death.
Due to COVID-19 constraints, she said there is no date set for the comedienne’s burial. Mahal just paid a visit to her onscreen “partner” Mura, indicating that she would be assisting him. She was equally saddened by Mura’s condition and stated that she would assist him.
