Lorna Tolentino has this statement when asked about Rosanna Roces
Veteran actress Lorna Tolentino said that she has moved on from the past issue with Rosanna Roces a long time ago.
To recall, an issue surfaced between the two actresses because of the late actor Rudy Fernandez. Back then, Rudy, who was already with Lorna, had a show with Rosanna.
Rumors surfaced that Rudy and Rosanna were having an affair. Just recently, after a long time, Rosanna and Lorna met again on the set of Ang Probinsyano.
Rosanna said that she apologized to Lorna for whatever issue that came between them in the past and the latter has accepted that apology saying that it happened a long time ago already.
Based on the article entertainment columnist Gorgy Rula in Pilipino Star Ngayon, there is no animosity in Lorna Tolentino’s part, especially that everyone has been affected by the pandemic.
Before going to Ilocos for the lock-in taping, Lorna was already aware that she will be working with Rosanna. She said that amid the situation now, there is no time to “emote” and the issue happened many years have passed.
“Past is past. Tayo ay magpatawad. Masaya na si Daboy sa langit,” the award-winning actress said. Indeed the two actresses have buried the hatchet and chose to forget the past conflict.
In a message to the columnist, Lorna Tolentino said this about the past issue she had with Rosanna Roces: “Tayo ay nabubuhay sa ngayon at bukas. Yung bukas nga ang hirap na. Peace (peace emoji) to make the world a better place.”
Meanwhile, Ang Probinsyano is set to feature new characters in the series including Coco Martin’s rumored girlfriend Julia Montes whose character is now being tagged as Cardo Dalisay’s “huling pag-ibig”.
