Three Women Alleged Suspect of Illegal Drug Trade Nabbed in Cavite Buy-Bust Operation

Police authorities arrested three (3) women who were accused of being suspects in the illegal drug trade in Cavite during the buy-bust operation.

According to the report, the three ladies were all nabbed by Cavite police after selling drugs to a poseur buyer at different locations throughout Cavite. Claire Matreo, 32, Marilou Santos, aka “Apple,” 45, and Gloria Dinglas, 40, were detained.

According to the Cavite Police Provincial Office, Matreo sold illegal substances to a buyer she met in Bgry Molino, Naic Cavite. She did not believe, however, that the person with whom she transacted was a police officer who would later arrest her.

The female drug dealer was found with ten sachets of suspected shabu. On the other hand, Alias Apple, who transacted the same day at Brgy Poblacion, Magallanes, Cavite, is unaware that she will be detained and that the two sachets of suspected illegal substances shabu she is selling will be confiscated.

Dinglas was also handcuffed during the buy-bust operation in Brgy Poblacion 1-A Ternate, Cavite, which resulted in the seizure of four sachets of suspected shabu. The three female drug suspects were charged with breaking the 2002 Dangerous Drug Act.

Meanwhile, a guy was apprehended at the Dumaguete City Police Station in Negros Oriental for attempting to hide illegal substances known as “shabu” inside peanut butter jam. The suspect was only visiting a buddy who had been imprisoned, according to the report.

The suspect was carrying a plastic bottle of peanut butter and bread. The duty jail guard suspected such peanut butter when he was inspected. The illegal substances were discovered wrapped in masking tape within peanut butter after a thorough search by the correctional guards.
