Suspect in a Crime in Baguio City Died After Involved in Accident While Escaping

The suspect of a shooting incident in Baguio Died after being involved in an accident while he was trying to escape from the crime.

According to the report, a man who shot three persons during a brawl on Baguio City’s Naguillna Road died while attempting to flee his crime. Rubillo Balmonte Distor, a jeepney driver from Pozzorubio, Pangasinan, and a resident of MRR Queen of Peace in Baguio City, was identified as the slain suspect.

Distor allegedly battled with the victims’ Bernard Aglaba Carbonell, 45; Peter Carbonelle Salvador, 47; and Nio Boy Arellano Carbonell, 35, all of whom were inhabitants of MRR Queen of Peace, before to the shooting incident. Distor came from a birthday party when he shot and wounded three people after a heated argument.

Based on the report, Bernard was shot in the chest, Nio Boy was wounded in the foot after being shot twice, and Peter was shot in the foot as well. While the victims were transported to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center, the culprit quickly fled after his crime.

According to Baguio City Police, the fleeing suspect was involved in an accident on Naguillan Road and 2nd Road in Quezon Hill while driving his vehicle. Police added that he died instantly as a result of the accident’s devastating impact. It was not immediately known what caused the road mishap.
