Many years have passed already but it was just recently that Rosanna Roces has apologized to Lorna Tolentino due to this.
ROSANNA ROCES – Former daring actress Rosanna Roces apologized to Lorna Tolentino over her alleged affair with Rudy Fernandez many years ago.
There were rumors many years ago that the late action star Rudy Fernandez and former daring actress Rosanna Roces have an affair. This kind of rumor emerged following their apparent closeness while doing the Da Boy en Da Girl, a sitcom on the GMA network. Rudy, at that time, was already with the veteran actress Lorna Tolentino.
In a previous interview with Tolentino, she shared that the past is past and she is not someone who will hold a grudge for someone for a long time. She shared that as long as she has what she rightfully owns, she’s fine. And now, after many years that this issue remained unresolved, the two actresses met in Ang Probinsyano.
Osang was the one who stepped up and made the first step. She went to Lorna, hugged her, and asked her if she’s still mad because of the issue. She said “no” and that’s when she apologized to her. This good news was shared by Ogie Diaz in his latest vlog.
He shared reading the message that Osang has sent to him, “Binati na ako ni LT. Ginawa ko niyakap ko. Tapos sinabi ko, ‘Galit ka pa sa akin?’ Sabi niya, ‘Hindi na, ang tagal na nun.’ Niyakap ko ulit sabay sabi ko, ‘Sorry.’ Naiyak ako. Sabi niya, ‘Hayaan mo nasa langit na ‘yung isa.'”
The message furthered, “Ang gaan sa pakiramdam, mare. Kinawayan niya ako. Tapos umakyat ako sa standby area nila. Doon ako nag-sorry. Kahapon magkaeksena kami pero hindi ako nakakuha ng tiyempo. Kanina lang. May nai-close na naman akong pahina.”

To recall, Lorna and Rudy got married on June 92 – theirs is a wedding regarded as among the grandest and most star-studded. However, the acton star died at the age of 55 due to a lingering illness, peri-ampullary cancer, in 2008.
