Lea Dumortier Drew Attention Online for Being Look-Alike of Marian Rivera

LEA DUMORTIER – French-Taiwanese female drew attention online for being a look-alike of Kapuso actress Marian Rivera.

Because of her likeness to Kapuso star Marian, a French-Taiwanese lady becomes instantly renowned in the Philippines. Many people observed on TikTok that Lea Dumortier, an 18-year-old student at UC Berkeley in California, resembled Marian.

When Lea shared her side-profile photo on Instagram in October 2019, she was spotted by a Marian admirer. Netizens spotted Lea’s resemblance to Marian and two other Pinay actresses, Carla Abellana and Antoinette Taus, in her second video on Tiktok, where she has 160,000 followers.

Lea and her sister Chloé run their two-year-old retail business in Pasadena, California, aptly called Léa et Chloé. This 5’5″ beauty will turn 19 in September. She was born in Los Angeles, according to her Titktok account, although she also calls Tainan, Taiwan home.

She is a sophomore at the University of California, Berkeley, where Hollywood actor Chris Pine and Maze Runner star Ki Hong Lee both attended. She claims she’s been told about her likeness to the Filipina-Spanish actress several times.

Lea, on the other hand, joked that she might be Marian’s’secret daughter’ in response to those who remarked she looked like her. The features of Lea’s face, particularly around the eyes, are strikingly similar to those of Marian.
