Jinkee Pacquiao says that she is choosing to forgive
Socialite Jinkee Pacquiao shared a post about choosing to forgive after she received criticisms because of her so-called “lavish” lifestyle.
The wife of boxer-politician Manny Pacquiao, as many netizens would know, would always share her beautiful photos showcasing her expensive OOTD’s and places where most people in high society would go.
Just recently, veteran entertainment reporter Cristy Fermin slammed the socialite due to the luxurious outfit that she wore during the fight of her husband with Cuban boxer Yordenis Ugas.
Cristy said, as well as many netizens, said that Jinkee Pacquiao is being insensitive amid the sufferings of many Filipinos because of the health crisis. Following this, Jinkee posted about “jealousy” which garnered speculations that it was her answer to the people who are criticizing her.
Then, she shared a post showcasing a carpet from the luxury brand Fendi and she captioned this with, “baka na naman isama sa pag-compute”.
Just recently, it appeared that the socialite had a different tone from her previous posts. In her Instagram Story, the wife of the boxing champ highlighted her choice to forgive.
“When you choose to forgive to those who hurt you, you enslave yourself to the destructive attitudes of bitterness and resentment. This attitude will begin to eat at your insides, day in and day out,” she said.
She added that by forgiving, a person is freeing one’s self from the prison of bitterness and that one should make sure that he or she is not being held captive by an unforgiving heart.
Jinkee Pacquiao also stressed this: “Remember, when you forgive someone, you set a [prisoner] free—yourself! (white heart, peace sign emojis).”
