Manila Mayor Isko Moreno has this answer when asked if he will run for the highest political position in the Philippines in the 2022 elections.

In a recent interview by actress-TV host Toni Gonzaga, once again the mayor of the capital city of the country was asked about his future plans when it comes to his political career.

Mayor Isko Moreno said that in the spirit of fairness, all politicians who already dipped their feet in the world of politics, the maximum goal will be the presidency. “Career growth yun,” he said.

He added that the danger that this will do these coming months, before the election, is to politicize the situation. However, he stressed that there is time for that.

I will be honest to the people and be fair, at the very least, by saying it on the right time. Today, mauna na kayo, atat kayo eh,” Yorme said.

When asked if until when he will be a public servant, the Manila Mayor said that he wants to take a rest when he reaches 50 years old. Toni said that it is just four years from now.

Then, Isko Moreno shared what he learned from great leaders. “They know when to stop,” he said. The actor-turned-politician said that he did not dream of being a mayor and he only had a simple dream before to have a comfortable life and it was to become a seaman. On the other hand, it can be seen where he is now that he was given much more blessings in life.
