Philippines Bet Dindi Pajares Finishes Top 12 In Miss Supranational 2021
DINDI PAJARES – Philippine bet Dindi Pajares finished her Miss Supranational 2021 stint in the top 12 of the competition.
Filipino beauty queen, air force reservist, and model Dindi Joy L. Pajares was a graduate of the Aces and Queens training program. On July 24, 2021, she was selected as the Philippines’ rep to the Miss Supranational 2021 after receiving the highest number of votes from fellow candidates at Miss World Philippines.
MWP organization is the local franchise holder of the Miss Supranational. The pageant was held at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sacz, Poland Sunday (Manila time) August 21, 2021. Before joining Miss Supranational, she also joined Binibining Pilipinas 2016 and 2017, Miss Philippines Earth 2011, and Miss World Philippines 2020.
Dindi Pajares is considered a fan favorite. She unveiled her national costume through an IG post last Friday. She was hoping to be the country’s second Miss Supranational titleholder after Mutya Datul in 2013.
The Pinay beauty finished top 12 of the Miss Supranational 2021 pageant. Namibia’s representative Chanique Rabe won the title succeeding reigning Miss Supranational Anntonia Porsild of Thailand.
First runner-up – Karla Guilfú Acevedo of Puerto Rico
Second runner-up – Thato Mosehle of South Africa
Third runner-up – Valentina Sanchez of Venezuela
Fourth runner-up – Eoanna Constanza of Dominican Republic
During the 2nd semi-final round, Dindi Pajares was asked how she wants to be remembered in case she does not win the prestigious pageant. She said, “I want people to remember me [for] my ‘never give up’ attitude.”
“After the competition, if you fail, you didn’t make it, use the opportunity to promote your advocacy. You have that advocacy not because… you’re not promoting it just because you’re in a pageant. You have that advocacy because that’s your purpose and that motivates you to keep on going and do something nice. So remember that this is not the end of the world, this is not the end of your journey as a Supranational queen…”
“I’m going to continue my life as an Air Force reservist, serving my community. And at the same time, I’m very much willing to support the Miss Supranational, the winner, to continue what she wanted to pursue, and also get in touch with the organization,” she added.
