Doctor Gives Update on Health Status of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno After Testing Positive for Respiratory Disease
Sta. Ana Hospital doctor has revealed the real health status of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno after he tested positive for the coronavirus disease
Last Sunday (August 15, 2021), Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso confirmed that he tested positive for coronavirus disease. He was taken to Sta. Ana Hospital after experiencing cough, colds and body pains.
The Manila mayor tested positive for COVID-19 few days after skipping several events due to feeling unwell. Moreno and Manila Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna were both fully vaccinated and tested positive for COVID-19.
Mayor Isko had a close contact with his chief of staff Cesar Chavez who has been already isolated. Domagoso is still in charge and the work of the city government will continue after the Mayor’s Office has been disinfected.
On Monday (August 16, 2021), the director of Sta. Ana Hospital Dr. Grace Padilla has revealed the real health status of Mayor Isko after experiencing mild symptoms and tested positive for the respiratory disease.
Padilla said that Moreno underwent a chest CT Scan and other laboratory tests. The initial findings show that the city mayor is in stable condition and now being treated.
“His RTPCR test result turned out positive. Lab tests were taken, and the initial findings of his chest CT Scan result is normal. Our clinical impression: He has a mild covid disease, Presently, he is maintained on oral anti-biotics and vitamins as supplements. He is stable, comfortable and sleeping well,” Padilla said.
