Honest Father Christian Baluyot Returns Commuter’s Cellphone and Received Help From Netizen for His Good Deed
An honest father who returned the mobile phone of his fellow commuter received outpouring donations from kind netizens.
The 22-year-old grocery merchandiser named Christian Baluyot saw a lost mobile phone inside a public jeepney. The lady owner named Patricia Tawat who was in a hurry accidentally left the phone inside the public vehicle.
The honest man has posted the photos of the lost iPhone on his Facebook account. He called out the owner of the phone to contact him.
“Kung sino kaman ate/kuya hihintayin kopo tawag mo ibabalik kotong cellphone mo dahil wala pong tinuro saken ang magulang ko mag nakaw babalik kopo etong napulot kong cellphone pleasee share sa jeep kopo napulot thanks,” Baluyot said.
Eventually, Baluyot received a call from Tawat and agreed to meet up to return the lost phone. Christian did not hesitate to return the phone and explained that he want to support the necessities of his family through hard-earned money.
Patricia offered groceries to show her gratitude towards Christian’s honesty. She also post Baluyot’s good deed after learning that one of the merchandiser’s two children has a Down Syndrome.

The post immediately spread like a wildfire online and a lot of netizens reached out to Baluyot and offered help. He received a lot of blessings from the online community, which he did not expect.
