Jay Sonza Questioned Isko Moreno After Elected as Aksyon Demokratiko Leader
Veteran journalist Jay Sonza questioned and demands an explanation from Manila Mayor Isko Moreno after being elected as President of Aksyon Demokratiko.
Days after transferring from the National Unity Party, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso was purportedly elected as the new President of a political party called “Aksyon Demokratiko Party.” Yorme Isko, on the other hand, owes multiple individuals an explanation.
The renowned journalist Jose Ma. Y. Sona, also known as Jay Sonza, is one of them. According to the retired journalist’s most recent Facebook post, the current position of Mayor Isko is intended for him.

He said that the late Education Secretary and Senator Raul Roco, the political party’s founder, were entrusted to a council of leaders. At his deathbed at St. Lukes Hospital, Roco also appointed a convenor in the person of Jose Ma. Y. Sonza, according to him.
“There is an item in the social media that Francisco Domagoso, aka Isko Moreno, is the new president of Aksyon Demokritiko, a political party found by the late Education Secretary and Sen. Raul Roco and before his demise, the party was entrusted to a council of leaders and designated a convenor in the person of Jose Ma. Y, Sonza at his deathbed at St. Lukes Hospital.”
Sonza went to enumerate the so-called council of leaders to whom the founding Chairman had given his authority. He went on to say that he is one of the entrusted leaders and that he is the alleged convenor.
“Among them are Former NFA administrator and Nueva Ecija Rep. Edno Joson; Atty. Melanio “Batas” Mauricio, former national athlete and world bowling champion, Bong Coo, farmer journalist & Crisis management consultant Jay Sonza, Mr. Concon Domado, and Camarines Norte board member Panotes.”
Sonza claimed that he checked on each of the entrusted council members and discovered that they, too, were unaware of Isko’s election. They, like him, were taken aback by the news that Yorme Isko had been elected party president, and Isko needed to explain himself.
“I checked on each of these senior party leaders of Aksyon Demokratiko and all of them are as shocked as you’re are that the elected mayor of Manila under the NUP (National Unification Party) is claiming to be the new President of our political party.”
“WOW Isko! Paano nangyare that a political butterfly like is now the president of the principled political party?” a stunned Sonza asked. “AKSYON DEMOKRATIKO IS NOT YOUR PARTY MAYOR!”
