The “mystery man” of Kris Aquino was revealed

Actress-host Kris Aquino received this negative comment from a netizen and her “mystery man” Mel Senen Sarmiento fired back at the basher using her social media account.

To recall, on August 11, Kris shared an intriguing birthday greeting for an unnamed man. That prompted her social media followers to look for someone whose birthday falls on that day. Some netizens already guessed that it was the former Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary.

On the other hand, there was one netizen who expressed a negative reaction to this post of Kris Aquino. Instagram user @mynameisaxell said that Kris should keep her life private and her post showed that she is “narcissistic”. The netizen also pointed out that the former DILG Secretary would be pitiful due to what she posted and that she should just abolish her social media account.

Kris replied to this saying that she did not mention any name in her post and the netizen has no right to dictate to her to get rid of her social media accounts with millions of followers. The actress-host also pointed out that instead of negativity, positivity and “love love love” should be spread.

Then, the netizen contradicted Kris that the negative reaction to her post has nothing to do with politics. “Kung tatakbo ka tumakbo ka. Kung Hindi eh di hindi. Daming hanash bagay sayo sa bahay na lang,” the netizen said.

The next reply that the basher received was from the “mystery man” of Kris Aquino. Mel Sernen Sarmiento said that he borrowed the phone of the celebrity. He said that he can’t remember if the netizen was one of the staff members in DILG when he was the Secretary but he stressed that the greeting was not “malas” because this made him happy.

“Kung nag sama nga tayo sa department na minahal ko konting respeto naman sa min ni Kris,” he wrote. On the Facebook account of the former Secretary, he posted this: “Thank you for greeting me a Happy Birthday. Stay safe everyone (smile emoji).”
