Ellen Adarna says ‘John En Ellen’ committed protocol violation
Actress Ellen Adarna is planning to file a complaint against John En Ellen‘s production team for allegedly violating the safety protocol amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
To recall, Ellen became controversial last week as rumors surfaced that she walked out of the set in the middle of the taping and allegedly she exhibited attitude problem. Her co-star Long Mejia slammed her because of this but later on, apologized.
The Cebuana actress denied the allegations against her and said that she knows her right. Even Ellen’s fiancé Derek Ramsay and her leading man John Estrada, who is also the line producer of the show, defended her. On August 8, based on the article in PEP, Ellen Adarna revealed in an interview that her swab test on the set was false positive and it was due to the mistake of the person who tested her.
This result scared Ellen and had to do the test again twice when she got home. Her nurse saw the video that she took during the swab test on the set and leaned that what was used to her was the positive control stick which is just being used to test the cassette included in the testing kit if it works properly.
“When the nurse saw the video, she said, ‘Magpa-positive ka talaga kasi what they used was a positive control stick.’ So, malay ba namin na merong ganun, right?” Ellen revealed. She had to sacrifice not to see her son Elias for 20 days just to be sure that he will not get infected.
Talking to PEP columnist Gorgy Rula, Derek Ramsay also mentioned that his fiancée is planning to file a complaint against John En Ellen for the alleged protocol violation.
Although the actor did not elaborate on this, he mentioned the “drinking sessions” on the set that were happening after the taping. “Nag-iinuman sila sa set. Di ba, sinabi pa ni Long [Mejia] na hindi nakikisama si Ellen? Hindi sa hindi nakikisama si Ellen, nag-iingat lang. Pagkatapos mo mag-take ng scene, balik ka dapat sa kuwarto mo,” Derek shared.
He added that during the last taping days for the season two of the sitcom, they were not in a bubble and so Ellen Adaran had to be extra careful and she made sure that she was observing social distancing. “Pag nasa set, nakikisama naman siya,” Derek Ramsay said about his fiancée.
