Delivery Rider Expresses Dismay Over His Current Situation
A delivery rider expressed frustration towards company “Dating nakakapag Burger ngayong nakakapag Pudding na”.
Over the few years, a massive amount of delivery workers have been expressing their disappointment due to inconsiderate and heartless customers making fake booking and order cancellation.
The riders are also frustrated with their companies for allegedly not making legal actions regarding the incidents. The decreasing delivery fare also make it harder for workers to earn amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
A Facebook user named Jam Pong has shared the photo of “Pudding” bread he bought from a bakery for his lunch. The post circulates online and garnered various reactions from the online community.
The frustrated delivery rider reiterated that he could still buy hamburgers for lunch during the past few months but now he could only afford cheap pudding bread due to the decreasing rate of delivery fee.
He also expressed his disappointment due to the current situation of the delivery employees like him.
The delivery worker also lamented on his caption that he might reach the point of eating candy just to fill his empty stomach due to the inhumane fare rate. He is also hoping that his sentiments would reach the management.
