NAELAH ALSHORBAJI – Get to know Parañaque City’s Naelah Alshorbaji, the winner of Miss Philippines Earth 2021. She is set to represent the PH in the Miss Earth 2021 pageant.
Filipino-Syrian model Naelah Alshorbaji was named Miss Philippines Earth 2021. She is set to represent the Philippines in Miss Earth 2021. The date and venue of the international pageant is yet to be announced.
The 21st edition of the beauty pageant was held online due to the pandemic. The judges of the Miss PH Earth were tv host Kuya Kim Atienza, Miss Earth 2018 Nguyễn Phương Khánh, Miss Earth 2020 Lindsey Coffey, and tv host Marc Nelson.
During the final Q&A of the Miss Philippines Earth 2021, the top 10 candidates were asked how they are going to pursue their goals despite the ongoing health crisis.
Naelah Alshorbaji said: “I believe that despite the restrictions in terms of pandemic, we have social media for us to progress and move forward. I think that’s the beauty of the generation that we are going through right now. Moving forward, I think I could accomplish my goals and dreams regardless because I have a bright future even if during the pandemic. I hope that inspires people around us.”
Naelah is vying to become the 5th Pinay to win the title following Karen Ibasco (2017), Angelia Ong (2015), Jamie Herrell (2014), and Karla Henry (2008).

Surely, pageant-loving fans are now curious about the new Philippines Earth queen. Who is Naelah Alshorbaji?
The 23-year-old model is no stranger to beauty pageants. Before joining Miss PH Earth 2021, she placed 4th runner-up in the Miss Manila pageant in 2017 and won Miss Paranaque in 2019.
According to her profile on the Miss PH Earth website, Alshorbaji grew up on a farm in Syria. Her fondest memories in that country include swimming and her bonding time with the Alshorbaji Alzamik clan. At the age of 11, she moved to the Philippines due to the Syrian civil war.
Naelah Alshorbaji said she was not afraid to commit mistakes. She said, “no one knows everything but not being afraid of making mistakes is important, the wanting and willingness to learn is true intelligence and bravery in my opinion. Never be afraid of mistakes because mistakes are the greatest teachers that life can give, it’s either you win or you learn.”
Aside from being a model, she also promotes mental health awareness through her YouTube channel. Naelah is also into various sports such as golf, boxing, arnis, and surfing.
The beauty queen advocates reducing plastic waste by turning them into usable products. In one of her IG posts, she showed a machine that turns hard plastic into a quality product.
