Actor Donny Pangilinan was asked about his former love team partner Kisses Delavin’s stint in the Miss Universe Philippines pageant.
Donny and Kisses, collectively known as the DonKiss love team, had several projects in the Kapamilya network. Among their projects together were Playhouse and Walwal. However, based on the article in The Latest Chika, their love team partnership ended in 2019.
Donny Pangilinan is now the love team partner of Belle Mariano while Kisses Delavin transferred to the Kapuso network. Even before Kisses joined the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother, she was already joining pageants in Masbate.
Now, she is representing her province in the second edition of the Miss Universe Philippines. She won the headshot challenge in the pageant after the official announcement of the Top 100 delegates this year.
In line with the national pageant journey of Kisses, a fan of DonKiss tandem asked Donny to share his thought about this during his recent Kumu Live.
The actor said that he knows the capability of his former love team partner when it comes to joining pageants. He also wished her good luck.
“Magaling naman talaga siya sa mga ganyan eh, so it’s nice that she pursued that,” Donny said in a recent Kumu live when asked by a fan on what he thought about Kisses’ participation in the national beauty pageant. I wish her the best,” Donny Pangilinan said.
A short video featuring this statement of the actor about Kisses Delavin was shared by a DonKiss fan on Twitter. Apparently, this brought back the “kilig” in the hearts of the fans of the former love team partners.
Meanwhile, the introduction video of Kisses Delavin in the Miss Universe Philippines pageant is one of the most viewed. Her name has been repeatedly trending on Twitter for her pageant journey.
