Malaysian Athlete Nur Dhabitah Sabri’s Unconventional Old Training Photo Elicits Comments Online

A lady Malaysian athlete’s unconventional old training photo earned praises from the online community after it was posted on social media.

A Malaysian Olympic springboard diver named Nur Dhabitah Sabri earned the 4th-place finish in the women’s 3 metre springboard diving. She narrowly missed out on a medal at the Tokyo Olympics.

However, finishing the competition one step away from the bronze is already a great achievement. Competing at the Olympics alone is already considered as an amazing achievement, which is the dream of every athlete.

The Malaysians lauded the female Olympic springboard diver because of her achievement including her athletic performance and beautiful smile. She is making rounds online because of her old training photo from 2016.

In the old photo, it can be seen that Nur Dhabitah Sabri is undergoing an unconventional training. The athlete is stretching her legs on two chairs while her coach is perched on her back, which is quite painful.

The old training photo only proves that Sabri did her best and endured the hardships just to give her best in every competition.

The photo has a caption of:

“This is how #malaysiadivingteam trains. Like I told you before, it is not easy to train & be a world class athlete. That’s why, I really appreciates all of your supports & encouragements. Please don’t stop & please don’t start hating me.
I am trying my best to be great.
P/S: That’s me…being crushed…but I did not die.”
