Raymond Gutierrez mentioned his family in his coming out story
TV host Raymond Gutierrez expressed his gratitude to his family in his recent interview highlighting his coming out.
Indeed, the revelation of Raymond regarding his gender preference became a trending topic on social media. Many netizens lauded him for being brave to admit this personal thing about him. However, there were also those who mocked him by saying that it has been obvious to the public.
In his revelation in Mega Entertainment, Raymond Gutierrez admitted that it was hard for him trying to hide who he really is as he is the twin brother of a matinee idol, Richard Gutierrez.
Despite the struggle he went through, he became a better version of himself, especially when it comes to his career. His true self was able to come out also and he is being happy about this because of the support he has received from his family. Raymond shared that his family has always been close.
“As I grew older and as I matured, I realized the best thing that you can really offer your family is to be yourself. So drop the cloak, drop the act; just be yourself. And again, I’m lucky just because my family wants nothing but the best for me. They always just want me to be happy. We’ve always been very close,” he said.
Aside from his family, the popular showbiz clan of Gutierrez, he is always thankful to have friends who have become like a family to him.
“At the same time, I had friends that are like family to me. My chosen family who made it much easier to kind of realize that it’s never too late to love yourself, it’s never too late to acknowledge those feelings, and face your fears,” Raymond Gutierrez said.
