This is how Bianca Umali received the news for her ‘Legal Wives’ role
Kapuso actress Bianca Umali revealed that she had no idea at first that she got the third wife role in the series Legal Wives.
Bianca has done several teleseryes already that boosted her career in showbiz. Her recent stint is the primetime series with Dennis Trillo, Alice Dixson and Andrea Torres. She plays the role of Farrah, the third wife of the character of Dennis.
Bianca revealed in a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, that initially, she had no idea about this new stint. She said that it was just announced to her when she renewed her contract with GMA.
“In-announce po siya sa akin nung contract renewal ko po with GMA, with Artist Center, and together with sila Ms. Annette [Gozon] po, sila Ms. Tracy [Garcia) and LGR [Lilybeth Gomez-Rasonable], lahat po sila… after ko pong makapirma, sinabi po nila, ‘Congratulations, ikaw na ang third wife,'” Bianca Umali shared.
She admitted that this did not sink in to her immediately.The actress even asked what this means. Then, the story of the new Kapuso series and her role was explained to her.
With this, Bianca expressed gratitude. “Masaya po ako and very thankful na napagkatiwalaan po ako again ng isa pang cultural drama, and I’m happy that after Sahaya, ito po yung ginawa ko and i’m proud of this,” she said.
Bianca Umali also said that she always had respect to the culture of the Muslims. She stressed that she had no misconceptions about what they believe.
When asked if she is willing to be one of the legal Wives of a Muslim man, she said that it depends on how a woman loves a that man. If possibility comes that she will love a Muslim, she said that she can go that far.
