Glaiza de Castro is going international
Kapuso actress-singer Glaiza de Castro is set to do two international movies, one is in Canada and the other one will be in South Korea.
Glaiza is one of the bankable talents of the Kapuso network. Aside from acting, doing both “bida” and “kontrabida” roles, she is also a recording artist. Now, her acting prowess is being recognized abroad.
Based on the article on gmanetwork.com, during a recent interview on 24 Oras, it was revealed that the actress will be doing two international films. One movie will be produced by the Canadian Film Society and the director is a Filipino-Canadian filmmaker.
Glaiza de Castro will also have a chance to work with a Korean actor as her other international film will be shot in South Korea. With these opportunities for her acting career, the actress expressed gratitude.
“Siyempre honored din po ako na i-represent ‘yung Philippines through movies, through films. Excited na ako na gawin ‘tong pelikula na ‘to kasi another challenge, another assignment,” she said.
Aside from her amazing career in the entertainment industry, the love life of Glaiza de Castro is also blooming. She and her Irish boyfriend got engaged last year. They are able to work things out between them even though they have a long-distance relationship.
When it comes to her love life, one of the people whom Glaiza is thankful for was Wowowin host Willie Revillame. It is because the veteran host helped the actress when she traveled to Ireland last year amid the pandemic.
Meanwhile, Glaiza de Castro is part of the upcoming Kapuso series titled Nagbabagang Luha that is set to premiere on August 2.
