Work Suspension in All NCR Courts on Wednesday Afternoon (July 21)

#WALANGPASOK: The Supreme Court announced work suspension in all courts in the Natinal Capital Region on Wednesday afternoon (July 21, 2021).

On Wednesday, Typhoon Fabian intensified as it moves westward but it is not expected to directly affect the country’s weather condition. However, the tropical cyclone enhances the southwest monsoon.

Fabian has maximum sustained winds of 150 kilometers per hour and gustiness of 185 kph. It was last spotted at 705 km east-northeast of Itbayat, Batanes. It is expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Friday (July 23).

Work Suspension

Recently, Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo has announced the suspension of work in all courts in NCR due to the inclement weather condition brought by the enhanced southwest monsoon triggered by Typhoon Fabian.

The work suspension covers Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, Court of Tax Appeals, Sandiganbayan, and trial courts. The Supreme Court also allows the courts outside NCR to exercise discretion.
