Bulacan Municipal Hall Employee Arrested Over Drugs During Buy-bust Operation

The anti-narcotic operatives arrested an alleged employee of municipal hall in Bulacan over illegal drugs during a buy-bust operation.

The suspect was identified as Michael Avendao alias Pepsi, an accused employee of Pandi Municipal Hall and a resident of Brgy. Santol, Balagtas, Bulacan, according to Bulacan Police Dir. PCol. Lawrence Cajipe’s report. In Brgy. Abangan Sur, Marilao, he was detained in a buy-bust operation.

Based on the report, the operation resulted in the seizure of 12 heat-sealed plastic sachets containing 20 grams of shabu with a street value of P136,000.00. The guy was also found with a Toyota Vios Sedan (ABR 8356) and various drug paraphernalia.

The suspect had already escaped from a buy-bust operation in the same province on July 12, 2021, according to the newspaper. It is also suspected of being involved in the widespread distribution of illegal substances in Bulacan and the surrounding areas.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) officers raided a drug den in Tagum City, Davao del Norte, where they discovered six drug suspects having a pot session. 2 drug suspects who reportedly runs a drug den in Brgy. Madaum, were targeted by the PDEA in a buy-bust operation.

Two packages of suspected shabu costing P8,000 and six huge packages of shabu totaling P300,000 were seized by authorities. The arrestees are accused of breaking the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
