INIT SA MAGDAMAG – Kapamilya teleserye Init Sa Magdamag has its story getting deeper and deeper and ending this week is a tearful scene between Rita and Peterson.
Rita Macatangay-Alvarez is the character played by Yam Concepcion and her life is entangled with her two lovers – the past and the present. She married Peterson portrayed by JM De Guzman and they went to Tupe, played by Gerald Anderson, to be their sperm donor. However, drowned with jealousy and obsession, the ‘away mag-asawa’ resulted in domestic violence with the mad Peterson’s assault leaving Rita hospitalized. He was consumed with so much emotions that he drastically making her force to admit her supposed infidelity.
The assult also endangered her life and her baby’s life. In the recent episode, she got shielded by her family from her husband but in front of her unborn child’s grave, Peterson went to her and attempted to fix their marriage. But Rita remained quiet with the seething anger evident in her eyes. He explained to her what had happened and why it reached that point. He said, “Nagawa ko lang lahat ‘yon dahil sobra kitang mahal. I love you too much. Mahal na mahal kita.”
And what made him speechless and bend down on his knees is seeing the wounds and bruises his madness has broguht to his wife. Rita got black marks all over her face and her body. In tears, she told him, “Masyado mo akong mahal? Tingnan mo ako, Peterson. Ito ba ang pagmamahal? Ito ba ang mukha ng pagmamahal?”
