BFP Rescued 2-year-old Kid After Locked Inside Pick-up Truck in Davao del Norte

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) personnel rescued a 2-year-old kid after he was allegedly locked inside his father’s pick-up truck in Davao del Norte.

The driver left the key inside the pickup while the child was inside, according to BFP Sru XI DavNor’s Facebook post. According to the post, the child’s father went to the Provincial Veterinary Office and left him for a time.

The driver, on the other hand, did not believe the child would be able to lock it. When he returned, the car would not open, trapping the child inside.

The driver instantly requested for assistance. Thankfully, the BFP man was able to open the window and then the door to let the child out. The child is finally safe.

Over the last few months, police have issued warnings to adults, particularly parents, who are endangering their children’s safety by leaving them in a locked car. When children are stuck inside a car for an extended amount of time, they may get pale and lose their breath.

If a concerned citizen finds the youngsters inside the car, they will be lucky, but if not, their lives may be jeopardized. If the parents are found guilty, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) may file the RA 7610, or the “Act Providing for Stronger Deterrence and Special Protection against Child Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination.”
