Lovi Poe In “The Other Wife”, Actress Talks About New Film

In yet another affair film, Lovi Poe says that her newest film is different from the previous ones that she did.

LOVI POE – Kapuso actress Lovi Poe has done an affair film again but this time, her newest film called “The Other Wife” is different from her previous films.

In the 2021 film entitled “The Other Woman”, Lovi Poe as Janis, Joem Bascon as Ronnie, and Rhen Escaño as Luisa starred as the lead characters. However, the film is not just another story of a cheating husband having an affair with another woman. In the trailer released, it seems like the film tackled the mystery and romantic story between the characters to which the setting is based in the current time of the pandemic.

Before this film, Lovi and Joem have already worked together in “The Annulment” where they also played husband and wife. As much as many people are aware, the Kapuso actress has made numerous projects of the same concept and story already but her latest film is accordingly different from the previous projects that she has done. She has actually done Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real, The Significant Other, The Escort, The Bride And The Lover, My Neighbor’s Wife, Temptation Island, and many others.

And speaking about her latest film, she shared that psychological thriller’s story is between her character, Bascon, and Escano. She shared that her film is quite violent and believed that people must watch it so they will be able to find out the whole story. She also commended Rhen for her amazing portrayal of the character and she’s thankful that she’s been paired again with Joem, an actor she’s already comfortable doing some daring scenes with.

She said during a virtual mediacon as per PEP, “This is very different po. Meron pong ginawa yung character ko dun na… may makita po kayong makita na medyo violence po.”
