Woman Arrested After Deciding To Go For McDonald’s In Middle Of Police Chase

MCDONALD’S DRIVE-THRU – Police arrested a woman suspect following a lengthy car chase thanks to McDonald’s.

In action movies, you’d often see high-octane car chases between police and criminals. However, this recent car chase ended with an anti-climactic twist.

Local reports from Worcester said a 38-year-old woman allegedly stole a truck. However, due to being in such a hurry, the suspect hit multiple cars and reversed into police officers.

Suddenly, the police were on pursuit. Furthermore, police were called in to investigate a stolen pick-up truck on Tuesday. Luckily, the owner got a GPS tracker in the vehicle and managed to intercept it.

Based on an article from ABS, the Worcester Police Department stated:

The officer activated his blue lights, got out of his cruiser, and approached the stolen vehicle…

The operator … drove away as the officer walked toward her. The officer got back into his cruiser and followed her at a low rate of speed, but she did not stop

In an attempt to evade the cops, the driver ran red lights and even drove through oncoming traffic. After following the truck for several blocks, the police ceased the chase for safety reasons.

But suddenly, the police noticed that the stolen truck pulled over and stopped driving as they looked at the GPS. To their surprise, the suspect stopped over at a nearby McDonald’s drive-thru.

Finally, after a grueling chase, officers arrested the suspect identified as “Johanna Gardell”. The suspect was apprehended with a slew of charges to her name.
