Video Resumes On TikTok As Company Promotes New Way Of Applying

TIKTOK PROMOTES VIDEO RESUMES – When applying for a job, you would normally present your CV. However, that may be a thing of the past.

Surely, video resumes aren’t a new thing. But, with TikTok’s latest trend, it may just finally get the traction it needs. Recently, TikTok launched its pilot program that allows users to upload resumes for U.S.-based jobs.

This could be anything from being a professional wrestler to a senior data engineer. Furthermore, you could even apply as a creative producer at TikTok itself.

With the new “TikTok Resumes” program, companies like Chipotle Mexican Grill and Target are now accepting video resumes from July 7 to July 31. As such, users can now apply for entry level and experienced positions by uploading videos with #TikTokResumes.

According to users, this would be a great experience to show how creative an individual is. Moreover, this shies away from the traditional channels a person usually goes through when applying.

For TikTok, the new pilot program offers a “natural extension” of its running “ambassador program” which recruits students as representatives to promote the app’s social network brand.
