Phil Younghusband Son Philip James Turns One, Mommy Margaret Shares Cute Pics
PHIL YOUNGHUSBAND – Philip James Younghusband, the son of ex-Philippine Azkals player Phil Younghusband and his wife Margaret, has turned one.
Celebrity soccer player Phil Younghusband is one of the most decorated local footballers in recent history. He and his older brother James Younghusband were once members of Chelsea’s reserve team. 5 years after their Azkals debut, became key members of the national team that knock-out Vietnam in the 2010 AFF Suzuki Cup.
On November 18, 2019, Phil announced his retirement from football through his IG account. He thanked everyone who supported his playing career and hinted a new venture in his post.
After retiring from professional football, Phil Younghusband moved back to England and started his family with Margaret Hall. On June 12, 2020, he announced that his wife gave birth to a healthy baby boy and named him Philip James Younghusband.
The couple named him after Phil and his father. He wrote, “Very proud to introduce Team Younghusband’s new signing Philip James Younghusband, named after his Grandad and Dad.”

On June 7, Nice Print Photography posted on IG a series of photos from Philip James’ birthday celebration in London. In the photos, the baby boy was seen wearing a white tuxedo and a bow tie.
The birthday boy was joined on stage with a giant stuffed bear. There were also balloons in mixed colors of brown, silver gold, and blue.
In one of Margaret Hall’s IG posts, Philip James was seen in a different outfit. This time, he looks messy with cake frosting all over his face.
In the caption of the post, she wrote, “Happy 1st Birthday to our darling Philip. One year ago, you changed our lives. You burst our hearts wide open and taught us a love like we never knew before. Keep shining sweet Philip, we love you forever!”
