Woman Drugs Herself After Sniffing Seemingly Harmless Flower

WOMAN DRUGS HERSELF WITH A FLOWER – A woman accidentally drugs herself after sniffing what’s called an “Angel’s Trumpet”.

Since we were kids, we have been taught the value of flowers. It’s what bees use to make honey, and its nectar is used by butterflies as food. However, nature isn’t as innocent as it seems.

A woman who goes by the name @songsbyralph on TikTok learned this the hard way. In a viral video, the woman was on a night out with her friends. Then, she found a beautiful flower that seemed to be harmless.

However, after sniffing it, they soon realized that adverse effects it had on the human body. Here is the full video:

According to the woman in the video, she and her friend felt inebriated. Worse, once they got home and fell asleep, the woman in the video “had the craziest dreams and experienced sleep paralysis for the first time“.

Unfortunately for them, the Angel’s Trumpet is a flower that was highly potent. According to an article from Unilad, the flower belonged to the Brugmansia species.

Moreover, this flower is among the most toxic ornamental plants that contains the alkaloid known as scopolamine. But, despite the flower being called “Angel’s Trumpet”, the toxins it had was ironically named the “devil’s breath”.

If you somehow manage to ingest parts of the plant, you could experience the following symptoms:

  • paralysis of your smooth muscles
  • develop confusion and a fast heart rate
  • have dry mouth
  • constipation
  • tremors
  • migraine headaches
  • poor coordination
  • delusions
  • visual and auditory hallucinations
  • death
