Online Novena Mass for the Late Former Pres. Noynoy Aquino Held by Foundation
NOYNOY AQUINO – An online novena mass is held for the late former Philippine President Benigno Simeon Aquino III.
The whole Philippines was shocked by the sudden death of former Pres. Noynoy Aquino. Even his sisters did not expect it to happen last June 24, 2021 – their only brother was rushed to the hospital after he was found unconscious on his reclining chair in the morning.
PNoy lived in his family’s house in Times Street in Quezon City. Many of his aid genuinely loves the former President to the point that they do not go home in the fear of contracting COVID-19 and infecting him. According to his sisters, even before the pandemic he started, he was already in and out of the hospital.
The former President was undergoing dialysis. He was also set for a kidney transplant and underwent angioplasty in preparation for it. He kept his health condition and the few people who knows what he was going through respected his privacy.
Last June 24, 2021, former Pres. Noynoy Aquino was rushed to Capitol Medical Center. His sisters were already informed right away and they rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, after a few minutes, reports that he passed away crossed the surface.
The former President died of renal disease secondary to diabetes. Prior to it, he was not able to undergo his dialysis sessions twice as he was not feeling well. The people around him believe that he died a peaceful death.

Following the death of a national leader who is known for treating the people as his “boss”, the Philippines was placed under a 10-day period of mourning. Messages of love and expressions of sympathy outpoured for the Aquino family amid the grief.
The sisters of the former President decided to have his body cremated. They wanted to give their brother so much more in terms of memorial but they respect the situation now and they also want things to bear his simplicity. He was laid to rest beside his parents, the late former Senator Ninoy Aquino and the late former Pres. Cory Aquino.
The Ninoy and Cory Aquino Foundation is holding an online novena mass for the late former Pres. Noynoy Aquino. Different priests presided the novena masses which started last June 24. It is aired on the official Facebook page of the Ninoy and Cory Aquino Foundation.
