Israeli Researchers Found “New Type” Of Early Humans

NEW HUMANS – Israeli researchers dug up and found bones of a “new type” of early human species never before seen in science.

Humans, much like most species, still have a past shrouded in mystery. But, with this new discovery, scientists believe it could shed light on the course of our species’ evolution.

A research team from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem dug up ancient remains that dated between 140,000 and 120,000 years ago. However, the team noted that this time of human was “unlike modern humans”. Not only does the bones show a different skull structure, it also shows no chin, and very large teeth.

The “Ramla Homo” type finding was named after the site where bones were found. This study is published in the Science journal, Tel Aviv University anthropologists and archaeologists led by Yossi Zaidner.

As per the article, Zaidner said:

The archaeological finds associated with human fossils show that ‘Nesher Ramla Homo’ possessed advanced stone-tool production technologies and most likely interacted with the local Homo sapiens

Based on their findings, the bones they discovered in Israel could date back 400,000 years ago and could belong to similar groups of prehistoric human types. “Our findings imply that the famous Neanderthals of Western Europe are only the remnants of a much larger population that lived here in the Levant — and not the other way around“, said another researcher.
