Why did Willie Revillame change his mind regarding the project with John Lloyd Cruz?
Wowowin host Willie Revillame, who also owns the WBR Productions, allegedly backed out of the project with A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz.
Willie has shown support for the showbiz comeback of the Lloydie. The veteran host even guested the actor on the program for the special Shopee episode. Kuya Wil also hinted with excitement that he is planning to produce a sitcom featuring John Lloyd Cruz and Andrea Torres.
Reportedly, this will also serve as the acting comeback of the game show host. However, in a recent Showbiz Update vlog of comedian-talent manager Ogie Diaz with Mama Loi, it was said that rumors surfaced that Willie Revillame is no longer pushing the said project.
According to Mama Loi, there was a cast party following the Shopee event and Kuya Wil allegedly saw something that John Lloyd did that disappointed him. The term that Ogie used in the title of his vlog was “na-turn-off”.
“May nakita daw si Willie, at tsaka ‘yung mga ibang bossing ng network na hindi kaaya-ayang ginawa ni ano, ni John Lloyd,” Mama Loi shared. When Ogie asked what was that, Mama Loi said that he will just whisper it to him secretly.
Then, Ogie simply explained that Willie has seen something that John Lloyd did that he did not like. He did not reveal that thing because he said that they don’t want to judge the A-list actor.
The comedian-talent manager said that perhaps John Lloyd was allowed to do that thing there but Mama Loi said that if that was the case, then why it led to the point that Willie backed out of their supposed project together.
Mama Loi added that Willie Revillame is already out of the said project but it will be produced by GMA.
