Wild Boar On Solo Journey, Boards Train In Hong Kong
WILD BOAR – In our journey of self reflection, we often find ourselves in new territories, much like this young wild boar as he boards a train in Hong Kong.
But, not only did he board one train, but he travel in two separate MTR trains giving the railway staff a classic run-around. Still, with determination, the young boar managed to cross Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbor to Tseung Kwan O.
Upon entering the first train, our little piggy hero had run-ins with the law. But, after multiple attempts to catch the juvenile boar, it managed to alight at the North Point interchange and boarded another train.
Because of this, the rail operator diverted the train to the depot in Tseung Kwan O. Here, authorities from the Agriculture and Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) where lying in wait to retrieve the animal.
Meanwhile, photos and videos of the cute boar roaming around and checking passengers went viral on social media. It was even photographed taking a quick break from traveling on the train’s priority seat.
Luckily, the MTR said the young wild board caused little to no disruptions to the train’s service. Furthermore, no staff was injured during his extraction with the piglet also left unshaved.
