Is Manny Pacquiao supporting his children’s career in show business?
MANNY PACQUIAO – Boxing legend and senator Manny Pacquiao shares his opinion about his two sons pursuing a career in showbiz industry.
Jimuel Pacquiao is the eldest of Manny Pacquiao and Jinkee Pacquiao who will debut as an actor through iWant TFC project, Click, Like, Share. He was recently introduced as one of the newest members of Squad Plus of Star Magic. Aside from his boxing career, he is also pursuing his career in the local show business industry.
Meanwhile, their second-born Michael Pacquiao rose to fame when he performed his rap song “Hate” which now has over 15 million views on YouTube. People gushed about how talented he is when it comes to music. He received criticisms because he accordingly just got the attention due to his last name but he believes otherwise. In a previous article, he expressed that he believes in his talent.
With both of his sons finding a career in the local entertainment industry, Pacman himself said that he sees nothing wrong with it and actually has all-out support for whatever they aspire to be. He supports both of them just as long as it would do good for them.
He actually hopes to be able to perform with his two sons in his upcoming “Isang Tinig, Isang Lahi” free concert. This event aims to raise funds for those people greatly affected by the pandemic. Pacman most especially wanted to perform with Michael because he’s the one who is musically inclined.
“Gustong-gusto niya kumanta at gumawa ng kanta. Gusto niya siya ang nagko-compose, siya rin ang nag-a-arrange. ‘Yung anak ko na si Michael, mahilig talaga sa music. ‘Yung kwarto niya puro gamit sa music, so sana makita ko sila na kumakanta sa stage,” he shared about him as per ABS-CBN News.
